At North Star Montessori:
Celebrate Valentine's Day early with "Love you to Death": A Valentine Murder Mystery
We welcome you to our annual fundraising event at the Four Seasons Hotel. The gala Valentine's dinner features an entertaining evening of murder mystery, and this year, will be hosted by Actor/Executive Producer, Amanda Tapping of Sanctuary and Stargate fame.
Though few realize that a Montessori education extends into the elementary years, it has been praised as one of those hidden gems in education- North Star offers one of the best deals in private school education in the city, plus the method's benefits are immeasurable. Over 100 years old, Montessori is highly effective and is very respectful of the child, fostering self-directed and passionate exploration.
The children who come out of such a program demonstrate good leadership skills, work well both independently and with others and share a genuine desire to learn throughout their school years. Google.com co-founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, credit their years as Montessori students as a major factor behind their success.
Fans can also bid on the eBay auction, beginning February 6th, for a Stargate jacket worn by Amanda, as well as a for a personal online Skype chat with Amanda. More details forthcoming on this page in upcoming weeks.
