BSkyB will board MGM's 'Stargate'
Sky One snaps up rights to sci-fi saga

LONDON -- Sky One, the flagship entertainment channel of satcaster BSkyB, has snapped up exclusive free and basic pay U.K. rights to the latest installment of the "Stargate" saga -- "SGU: Stargate Universe."
... The deal with MGM Worldwide Television Distribution also gives Sky One non-exclusive VOD and download-to-own rights for the entire "Stargate" catalog.
"SGU" will bow on Sky One in the fall ...
