STARGATE ATLANTIS (Fridays, 10/9C, SciFi Channel)

Bloody battles, romance and global warning heat up Season 4. First off, for those who've wondered whether Stargate SG-1's Teal'c (Chris Judge) or Atlantis' Ronon (Jason Momoa) would win a fight, the stoic alien stops by for a visit.

"We essentially set up a sparring match between them," explains executive produer Joe Mallozzi, "though they'll have to put their animosity aside to take down some Wraith."

Paul McGillion's popular Dr. Beckett is resurrected from the dea in a two-parter, while vengeful Wraith Michael (Connor Trinneer) wreaks havoc with his Wraith-human hybrid experiments.

And we'll finally peek into the past of Sheppard (Joe Flanigan) when his ex-wife (Kari Wuhrer) shows up.

But all this could if the "It's a Wonderful Life" cliff-hanger finale holds true. Sheppard winds up 10,000 years in the future and finds both a solar-blasted Earth and a hologram of Dr. McKay (David Hewlett), which lets him know how life changed after he went missing on a mission. - IR

Richard Dean Anderson Web Site: Birthday Messages

From a Richard Dean Anderson website e-mail announcement:

http://rdanderson.com

There are no new additions to the website this weekend (though I am still working on a few!).

However, I've received a lot of messages from people asking about sending messages to RDA for his birthday on January 23rd.

In the past, I have done separate birthday pages for him each year, (which can be found in the Features section), but they grew to become so large as to be almost unmanageable. With that in mind, I tried to simplify, and I set up the Fan Mail site instead where fans could leave messages at any time during the year. The Fan Mail page is now the best place to leave a short greeting for RDA's birthday. (Although pictures and graphics can't be uploaded there, it is possible to include a link to an image elsewhere on the web.)

You'll find the link for Richard Dean Anderson's fan mail on the "Contacts" page, or you can go directly here:

Thanks for visiting!

Stargate Atlantis - GateWorld: Audio Interview with Christopher Heyerdahl

From GateWorld:

ACE OF WRAITH

GateWorld talks with Christopher Heyerdahl

It seems like everyone wants a piece of Christopher Heyerdahl! With appearances on shows like Smallville and Sanctuary, he is a familiar face to the Sci Fi world. Chris has now played three distinct roles in the Stargate franchise, and GateWorld felt we were long overdue for a chat with him!

In our interview with Mr. Heyerdahl, Chris discusses his origins on the series in the SG-1 episode "Revisions," and later returning for the Atlantis pilot episode "Rising" as the gentle Halling. Chris also explains why Halling disappeared so abruptly in the middle of Season One. More recently, a dream to play one of the Wraith has come to life for Heyerdahl, who now plays a critical portrayer of the species.

GateWorld's interview with Chris is available in MP3 audio format for easy listening, and is over 38 minutes long. It is also transcribed [at the site]. You can also download the interview to your MP3 player and take GateWorld with you!
