Two more appendices have been added to the Stargate SG-1 Lexicon. In addition to the Goa'uld Dictionary, you'll now also find an Unas Dictionary.

I have also added what is perhaps one of the most fun sections of the
Lexicon - an index to many of the cameo appearances that have been made on the show.

I have begun working on a summary of the Gatecon weekend, and I will be adding to the Updates and Archives sections soon, probably in segments as they are completed. As with the Avalon [convention] summary, I welcome contributions of photos from other fans who were there. There has been some recent news from both Gatecon and Legends Memorabilia regarding Gatecon 2008, and I've added that new information to the Gatecon page on the Richard Dean Anderson website. Here you'll find information about how to register for add-ons like the banquet and the locations bus tour during the convention. There is also information
about the pre-signed autographed photo that is included with the VIP tickets, and how to register so that you can have your autograph personalized. There will also be a lottery (coming soon) for 200 spots to purchase an in-person autograph from Richard Dean Anderson during the convention. You'll find all the links on the Gatecon page.

In addition, I've been continuing to expand the Stargate SG-1 Lexicon, and the entries are now complete from A through L.

RDAnderson Updates

I've added new updates to the RDA website this week.

First there is the very sad news of the passing of Don S. Davis last weekend. A brief "In Memoriam" has been added to the updates page, with a comment from RDA about his good friend.

The Lexicon is also continuing to grow. The entries are now completed from A to G, and I have also added two more appendices: the Goa'uld Pantheon, and a Goa'uld Dictionary.

the entries, which have now been completed up to "Celestis," I have also added the second of the appendices. This one is an illustration of military insignia, rank, awards, and ribbons for each of the main military characters.

Incidentally, I've been trying to include Lexicon entries for as many
cameos and special appearances as I can. There will be many cameos by members of the Stargate crew, but I'd like to include some fan appearances as well. So far, for example, you'll find "Get in the Gate" winner Bonnie is listed, as well as Boomer, who played Cassandra's dog. I don't know all the fan cameos or walk-ons, however, so if you'd like to suggest one, feel free to let me know, and I'll see if there is a way to come up with a character name or description. (I haven't decided yet if I'll be including my own cameo!)

A new "Note From Rick" has been added to the RDA website.



RDA sent another message to share a bit of the latest news about his ongoing surgery saga, and he also wanted to share his enthusiasm for Continuum, the latest SG-1 movie coming out this summer. He's seen the movie, and he loves it. His newest message has been added to the Updates page.

I'm also continuing to add to the Lexicon. I'll make announcements when milestones are hit, but you're invited to check in regularly as the entries slowly grow. I'm halfway through the letter "B" now. ;)
