Paul is an FBI agent who is given the case of the “Dollhouse.” Now I think, it’s kind of like his last case where he either solves it or he doesn’t. The fact is that it’s kind of a catch 22 situation. I don’t believe his superiors have any confidence that he’s actually going to get to the bottom of the dollhouse. Because anytime he gets any leads, makes any progress, he runs into walls and stops. But Paul is incredibly driven and once he starts something he has to finish it.
JFD: "I’d say Dr. Sweets becomes the guy everyone goes to when they’re having problems. I’m going to be spending time with both Angela and Hodgins as well as Booth and Brennan. In addition, Dr. Sweets will also help to profile murderers and suspects."
Michaela Conlin: It was a big shocker wasn’t it.
Maybe a week before we got the script. I mean we started hearing rumors, but really it was confirmed when we got the script. Eric had been with the show from the beginning so it definitely was a shock for everyone. But I think he’ll be back for a couple of episodes. At least that’s what I’m hearing...
JD: "I owe them so much money! [lots of laughter] Man! Uh, no, I’m like a jack of all trades but I’m not great at any one thing. I mean, at any thing, I’m just good at a lot of things. And because it’s a TV show and you have a true— I mean, Charlie Props is a MACGYVER, I mean that guy’s really MACGYVER. He’s unbelievable. So he’ll do it and I just have a particular ability to watch something done once and I’m able to repeat it [snaps] right away. Like lines, I never know my lines before I walk into a scene and I’ll have the script and I’ll rehearse with you and I’ll know that I sit a certain line and I kinda of move over here [gestures] on a certain line. And then I’ll memorize it physically from that and as soon as we shoot, fifteen minutes later, I’ll know three pages of dialog. I don’t know why but, then, I don’t know – we just shot – I don’t know one line now. It’s all gone. It’s like a toilet, it just flushes away."
BC: "Sam Raimi?"
BC: "I don’t know that many Sams. So, uh, Sam have anything to do with the burn? No, not a chance. Sam is a, Sam is a true and blue patriot. One-hundred percent. I’m not even kidding, the character is. He loves his country, but these are three people who don’t like to go by the rules anymore. And I love that. I love the premise of the show where the… they, like, if a cop catches someone who stole your identity, they might catch ‘em, but they’re not going to get your money back. Michael Westen will catch ‘em and get your money back. That’s what’s cool. It’s the full circle, the full… and it’s helping the little guys. It’s all these highly trained people now who use to do a bunch of different stuff on much higher stakes. Now there all these sort of crash and burn victims who are now helping the little person. Makes is, you can’t help it, makes it a show that hopefully people can relate to. That’s what it’s all about, I think. Can the audience go, “I like that character,” whatever. Because you can blow stuff up all day long, but if you don’t care, what’s the difference?"
RS: "My favorite things, well, she’s way smarter than I am, in some ways. I don’t think I have what it takes to be a politician. She does. She’s very organized and very hard working. From playing her, I’ve come to sort of think about what it must be like to live your life as a politician and the expansiveness and the large vision you must have, you have to make some really tough decisions. While she hasn’t made those decisions, she’s supported Laura in making those big decisions. Yeah, it’s tough, it’s really tough. Fortunately, and unfortunately, I think that’s still part of her character, as she’s come to discover her Cylon nature, and she made a tough decision with Cally. Who’s to say it was the right one? She did what she thought was necessary in that moment."
