Features

The Book of Daniel – MICHAEL SHANKS

Michael Shanks kicks off this issue's unmissable cast interviews. Daniel Jackson has always been the conscience of SG-1, and Stargate: The Ark of Truth puts his morality to the test: `Daniel's arguing with the Ancients comes to a climax in the movie. It becomes part of the evolution of the story – the argument that Daniel had with Morgan LeFay in The Pegasus Project comes to a peak as well. There's a great scene that Rob Cooper wrote between Daniel and Morgan that really illustrates his frustration in a very different way than we've seen before.'

Designed by James – Exclusive

The Official Stargate SG-1/Atlantis Magazine goes behind the scenes on the making of the new Stargate movies with production design maestro James Robbins. He gives us exclusive access to his concepts for Stargate: The Ark of Truth and Stargate; Continuum, and reveals all about the specific challenges of the shoot. Plus, producer N. John Smith takes us on the Stargate Arctic experience with exclusive photography, and tells us what it was really like to make a movie in the North Pole.

Claudia Black, Julian Sands and more!

Since joining SG-1 Vala Mal Doran has played a vital role in the battle against the Ori. We track down Claudia Black and talk movies, Daniel Jackson, and deadly offspring. Also in this issue, the Doci actor Julian Sands gives us his view on the power of the Ark, and prays that one day creepy contact lenses will be a thing of the past!

And the interviews keep on coming – also whetting the appetite for the new movies are cast members Sarah Strange (Morgan LeFay), Tim Guinee (Tomin), and acting legend Beau Bridges (General Landry).
