Stargate SG-1 - Video: 'Bloodlines'

US geo-coded.

Courtesy of SciFi Channel and HULU, Stargate SG-1's 'Bloodlines,' starring Richard Dean Anderson, Michael Shanks, Amanda Tapping, Christopher Judge and Don S. Davis. This episode introduces the character Master Bra'tac, portrayed by the marvelous Tony Amendola. Other guest stars include Eureka's Salli Richardson-Whitfield, and Teryl Rothery, Neil Denis, Brian Jensen and Bob Wilde.

Teal'c returns to Chulak to stop the Goa'uld from enslaving his son Rya'c. The trouble is Rya'c needs a Goa'uld larva to survive - and the only one available is Teal'c's.

From the Richard Dean Anderson website's Stargate SG-1 Season One Mission Database:

* The larval Goa'uld symbiote acts as the immune system for a Jaffa, and he can live only hours without it.
* Tek'ma-te Bra'tac, Master Jaffa warrior, 133 years old, was Teal'c's first teacher.
* The warrior Jaffa class serve as incubators for the larval Goa'uld and as the Goa'uld army, protected by the restorative powers of the Goa'uld they carry.
* Prim'ta: The religious ceremony of implantation when a boy comes of age, receives his first Goa'uld symbiote, and becomes a true Jaffa.
* Shol'va: Traitor, term used to refer to Teal'c
* Hasshak: Jaffa term used as an insult, similar to "fool"
