Melora Hardin (The Office) amps up the angst in this 2008 cable drama about a divorced mom who sends her handful of a daughter (Brittney Wilson) out to the country for some quality time with dad. As if being cut off from friends, smokes and booze wasn't bad enough, the bitter teen has to deal with dad's new wife — who just happens to be in the second trimester of a difficult pregnancy. Paul McGillion (Stargate Atlantis) also stars as the incredibly patient papa who manages to weather the storm of his tempestuous child's visit. — Jeanette Martin
