Firefly / Serenity - Quantum Mechanix: Contest Begins June 30 '08

From Quantum Mechanix:

(Please follow the link for the complete contest information.)

"Lemme guess. It ain't what we bargained at."

"It ain't. It's more. It's millions."

A million credits. That's a lot of cashy money. And we want to give it to a lucky Browncoat.

But that ain't it. There's more. A whole gorram lot more.

The Serenity Bank Heist Money Pack was the very first item QMx produced. And with the money making an appearance in the Better Days comic, it seemed like a perfect chance to partner with Dark Horse Comics to say a big "thanks" to Serenity fans for their overwhelming support of QMx in its first year.

The event runs from June 30, 2008 through Sept. 30, 2008, and you can enter two ways:

The classic money packs will be available for just $17.95 during the giveaway. Every time you purchase a money pack from our online store at this here website (purchases must be made at quantummechanix.com to qualify) between June 30, 2008 and Sept. 30, 2008, your name will be entered into the drawing. You can also enter by completing and sending in the official entry form, no purchase necessary. Limit one entry form per household; void where prohibited.

And what will you win should your name get drawn? One of more than 30 of the finest and rarest Serenity collectibles in the 'Verse.

Grand Prizes:

- One million "Alliance credits," as inspired by the haul seen at the end of the first issue of Better Days, complete with replicas of the money bags seen in the Better Days comic.

- One of only three Little Damn Heroes Kaylee Maquette prototypes in existence, and the only one signed by Jewel Staite. This unique item is an artist proof of the upcoming Little Damn Heros limited-edition animated maquette titled "Shiny".

- A Malcolm Reynolds Stunt Pistol replica, including a stand and signature card signed by Nathan Fillion. This is same the pistol handled and reviewed by Nathan himself!

- An original set of the sold-out Serenity Blueprints, signed by the designers Geoffrey Mandel and Tim Earls. This is one of the extremely rare Final Engineering Proof sets.

Additional prizes include:

- 10 hardcover copies of Serenity: Those Left Behind.

- 10 of only 100 limited edition test prints of John Mullaney's Serenity in Flight.

- 10 copies of the fabled misprint Londinum posters.

Winners will be determined by random drawing, ranked in the order in which their names are drawn. All winners will be notified via e-mail no later than October 31, 2008.

Thanks again to the Browncoat community for making 2007 a great first year for QMx. Now let's see who's going to pull in "The Big Haul!"
