Welcome to our Summer,2008 auction of Hollywood memorabilia! This sale features over 1,000 unique pieces of Hollywood history, from the silent era to modern sci-fi classics and everything in between. The auction opens with a wonderful selection of Fine Art Photography, including original unpublished Gallery Exhibition Portraits from the Estate of Ernest A. Bachrach.

Later in the sale, you’ll find a wonderful collection of original design maquettes and screen-used visual effects creatures and puppets of some of the most iconic characters ever created for film, including the Jurassic Park series, Small Soldiers, A.I.: Artificial Intelligence, among others. This incredible offering represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire some of the most important visual effects pieces ever created for modern cinema, each of which pushed the boundaries of film technology to new heights while simultaneously bringing new and exciting characters to life on the silver screen. Each is accompanied with a letter of authenticity from the Stan Winston Studio.

Next, we have the pleasure to offer you a few iconic pieces from the collection of Academy Award-winning Visual Effects wizard, Richard Edlund, including a T.I.E. Fighter filming miniature used in the first Star Wars film and "Major Toht’s” melting skull used in the “Wrath of God” sequence in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
